Holiday Clubs at Diamond Families

Fun, friendship and unforgettable days on the farm

Our holiday clubs give children and young people the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet our animals, try new activities, build confidence and make happy memories in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Based at Diamond Families Farm, our clubs are designed to be relaxed, engaging and supportive, with activities suitable for a wide range of needs and abilities.

Whether your child loves animals, nature, crafts, sensory activities or simply being outdoors, there is something for everyone.

What can children expect?

Every session is a little different, but activities may include:

• Animal encounters and animal care

• Outdoor adventures and farm experiences

• Arts, crafts and seasonal activities

• Sensory play and sensory-friendly activities

• Nature-based activities

• Games and group activities

• Opportunities to develop confidence and independence

• Making friends and building social skills

• Plenty of opportunities to explore, have fun and make memories

Our experienced team understands that every child is different. We aim to create an environment where children can participate at their own pace and feel comfortable being themselves.

October Holiday Clubs

Saturday Club

3rd & 17th October
10:00am – 12:00pm

Our Saturday Club is perfect for children who enjoy spending time outdoors and getting involved in practical farm activities.

Sessions may include animal care, outdoor activities, seasonal fun and opportunities to explore the farm.

Family Spooktacular Party

26th October
10:00am – 1:00pm

Join us for a fun-filled Halloween celebration for the whole family.

Activities will include:

• Halloween games

• Arts and crafts

• Animal encounters

• Seasonal activities

• Treats and surprises

• Plenty of spooky farm fun

Come dressed up if you would like to!

Holiday Club

27th & 30th October
10:00am – 2:00pm

Spend the day experiencing life on the farm with a Halloween twist.

Children can enjoy outdoor fun, farm experiences, crafts, animal encounters and seasonal activities throughout the session.

Our Holiday Club gives children plenty of opportunities to explore, learn new skills and enjoy being outdoors.

SEND Sensory Club

28th & 29th October
10:00am – 2:00pm

Our SEND Sensory Club offers a calmer, smaller-group environment for children who may benefit from additional sensory support.

Activities are designed to be flexible and may include:

• Sensory activities

• Gentle animal encounters

• Nature-based experiences

• Crafts and creative activities

• Quiet spaces and opportunities for breaks

• Outdoor exploration

We recognise that some children can find larger holiday clubs overwhelming, so these sessions are designed to provide a more relaxed experience.

Inclusive and SEND-Friendly

Diamond Families welcomes children with a wide range of needs and abilities.

Our team has experience supporting children with additional needs, and we understand that some children may need:

• Extra time to settle in

• Clear routines and explanations

• Sensory breaks

• Smaller group activities

• Reduced demands

• Support with communication

• A quieter environment

• Flexibility around participation

We encourage parents and carers to tell us about their child's individual needs when booking so we can consider how best to support them.

Animal Encounters

Animals are a big part of life at Diamond Families.

Depending on the session, children may have opportunities to meet and help care for animals on the farm.

Animal activities are supervised and children are encouraged to interact at a level they feel comfortable with. There is never an expectation that a child must touch or interact with an animal if they do not want to.

A Different Kind of Holiday Club

Our clubs are about much more than keeping children busy during the school holidays.

We want children to leave feeling that they have:

tried something new, grown in confidence, spent time in nature, made connections and had fun.

For some children, success might be joining in with a group activity.

For another child, it might be feeding an animal for the first time, making a new friend or simply feeling comfortable enough to spend a few hours away from home.

Every achievement matters.

Funded and Paid Places

Some funded places may be available through Eequ, depending on the programme and eligibility criteria.

Paid places may also be available for selected sessions.
